Z3 fenders

I was just browsing though stuff on ebay and a few magazines and I came across the Z3 fenders. I looked it up on ebay just to grab a quick link for pics. Here is one auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...40594446QQrdZ1 Personally I do not want to deck my exterior out in carbon fiber but, some companies even make the fenders in carbon fiber. I like the look but, I am not willing to pay 150-300 for fenders while I still have tons of performance stuff to worry about upgrading. I am just curious to see what everyone thinks about the look and supposed performance gain(helps circulate air in engine bay).

I like the looks of the z3 fenders... I almost did them when I had to replace mine but then I realized it just wouldn't look right unless the car had a lot of openings like that... I donno, I think it all depends on how many "appearance" modifications you would do to back up the fenders... Actually, Shpyders would look quite sexy with red z3 fenders.

Yeah I agree. I think with a nice hood the Z3 fenders could be a big plus for appearance. Oh, and yes Shpyder IS sexy

I have a chance to get fenders like that for free. I decided not too when i asked a shop how much it would be to put them on. Its a pretty cheap shop tool. But fenders like that will have a crap fitement. lots of issues. painting and install will be like $800 easy.

I bought soma and I'm waiting to get them. they kind of go with the flow of my hood. (i think it's the same as sphyders) As for flow nto the engine, I tink it's bs, unless you cut the support under the fender to open it up.
