97 cav hesitates when starting off

car runs fine ,but when u first start off it stutters for a second . anybody had this problem, if so let me know thanks.

maybe check tps( throttle position sensor)

I'd say check the basics first - dirty air filter/intake, plugs. If all of those check out fine, something is wrong in the tune since you say it idles fine. There should be no hesitation.

I am having the same problem, and my mechanic cannot figure out what is wrong. I have been through spark plugs and a few fuel pump injectors. I will suggest this tomorrow- thanks for replying to what the problem was!
