headlights look silly

i recently changed my headlight bulbs to stars sylvania. they seem brighter, and much more wite. fo some strange reason they aim high since the swap. i cant imagine what i did wrong, they seemed to go up as they were removed. im sure someone knows something about this. the bulb is in fine. what else shoul i try?

o2 removal sounds like it takes more time than its worth.i think im bringimg it to a machanic. i bought the part, but what a pain to install.

Pull the lights out again and make sure the tab on the bulb socket is in the proper place. If it is not properly aligned it will point high.
