Does anyone know what wire on the distributor to hook the tach to? I have an 89 Civic h/b ZC DOHC. Thanks.

On the plug at the distributor that has two wires going through it. The blue wire is the tach signal.

instrument cluster
I hooked my tach up on the the back of the instrument cluster, it's close to where i mounted the tach and if your car was an si, thats where the factory tach would hook up.

even if your car is a dx it will have that tach wire in the back of gauge cluster because you can swap in a si cluster without having to do anyhthing so the wire is back there cause the tach works on teh si cluster when put in a dx
