Compression question.
I have a 1980 model Camaro with 76cc stock heads. If I changed the heads to a 65cc, what do you think my compression would be? What is the highest compression you can run in a stock bottom end?

Re: Compression question.
it goes up a good amount, prolly 10:1 with good chamber design can be run on 91 or 92 octane... also, i have heard that aluminum heads can go up one point more than iron heads before they have pre-ignition... basically if iron can handle 9:1 then alum could do 10:1... its just a heat-dissapating deal
