4.9 F/I miss firing

1993 E-150 4.9 missing when excellrating. I'v changed plugs,wires, dist. cap and rotor. Adjusted the timing. Still has a soft miss. Anybody have an idea? I'm slowly but surely rebuilding this van (but not intentionally ) I cleaned the IAC valve (2-15-06) and that helped,but didn't solve the problem. still searching! Anybody want to add their  ?
