hi
i been searching the net and every car place around for any 1985 toyota corolla gts in the duval county area with nothing so i was wondering with a couple of other friends on how to import one from japan to the U.S.A. so if any of one guys know on how to do that it would be great or any sites that would do it for ya, i know of a site that does it with evos VII for like 45000$ and i was just wondering if its the same with truenos

I think you'll find its not worth the money.
You should be able to get one cheaper in the US, or even a non-4age powered one and do a swap. (I assume theres was a K series powered coupe in the US) Once you add the cost of shipping, the US huge import duties on cars, as well as customs and handleing charges the cost of the car often more than doubles. I recomend though that you find the US customs website and look at all the cost of landing the car. Then, if you still think its worth it all you have to do is find someone in Japan (or here in NZ, or over in aussie) with one they are prepared to part with, pay them some money and hope they actualy stick in a contianer and send it your way.
