After replacing the starter and trying a new clutch switch this car still dosen't crank. It is very irritating when u have a car but you can't drive it . Anyone who has any experience with this sort of problem please adivse! The car is manual and the only way I start is if my buddy pushes it and i KICK START it, given I have a buddy aside me. PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME!

Re: 97 GLX dont crank

so the car DOES start?

sounds like a bad ignition switch electrical portion (if it doesnt crank over)

but could be a fuel pump relay, many relays

Re: 97 GLX dont crank

vr6's don't use a timing belt. they have a timing chain, but there has been some issues on this chains on the first models.
