Ram air won't do anything for you but I think the gears, headers and catback will give you the edge.

if you have a chance, race him from a roll, but if you are gonna race from a dig count on playing catch up... i'm sure that you would be able to catch and beat him tho even from a dig

Re: 94 camaro z28 or 2005 lancer evo 8

why is that?

and the evo would lay down the stomp unless like drvingstorm said you can get him at a roll...about a 25mph roll. Crazy car hook like there is no tommarrow. I watched several of them at the track. Even from a roll your gonna be hard pressed to catch him. Especially if he has mods too.

Re: 94 camaro z28 or 2005 lancer evo 8

Actually you know what I spoke a little too quickly. There are alot of base mods I just assume that people have or do that go along with the mods that were mentioned. Such as a CAI, 90% of LT1's I have seen under the hood have one. The stock intake is very restrictive and these have been proven to add as much as 15 - 20 horse. Also a performance PCM tune which can add upwards of 30 horse on some applications. So based on the mods I mentioned before and those I would definetly think you would have the edge but GM high performance also got 12's out of a car with similiar mods and looking at what they generally say the Evo 8 runs in the 1/4 (which is low 13's ) I would say that would give you a edge in my book.

I would like a explanation as well. If there is something you find offensive about the topic or one of the posts in it. I would like to know about it.

If you had some slicks you would have a better chance from a dig. Give it a shot I think you would be pretty close.

Re: 94 camaro z28 or 2005 lancer evo 8

i just saw the thread where he is selling it so i guess it doesnt matter any more. I guess hes wanting to get an evo instead. Cant blame him too much, it is a nice car, just not for me.
