In Progress - Toyota Soarer D1 Drifter

Here is my current project. Tamiya's Soarer with addons. Aoshima provided D1 decals will be added.

7M-GTE engine with clamps and filter added.

I changed this from AT to manual. I printed that carbon centerconsole panel. Added power switch and knobs.

Modified 206 wrc rollgage.

Before and after pics of chassis. I've left all those black parts unpainted. Later I weathered it a bit. I only painted silver things and cf-ed the driveshaft.

looks great makin intercoolers for 7m's are hard thats why most ppl in real life go with front facing 2jz style intake manifolds helps alot with the piping but its comin along real nice!

Finally i made some progress. I've painted the panel lines, window rubbers and bmf'ed light lenses. Also SAS wing fitted, not glued. Hood has to be stripped because i messed up the cf.

I made this baby almost ready. Tires, brakes, towing hooks, strut bar and cf-ed front spoiler missing.

Wow, that's a nice model. I especially like the engine, the piping is well done!

But why are the rear seats gloss orange??
