Does Traction Control off safe gas?

If I turn Traction control off will it safe gas and maybe slightly enhance preformance?

Under normal driving conditions, the traction control feature will have no effect, positive or negative, on gas usage. As far as I'm aware of, the only time the traction control will activate is when it detects slippage of one or both wheels under acceleration. On dry pavement, under normal acceleration, the traction control will never activate so is a non-issue with gas economy.
