96 crown vic loud noise in front end?

wondering if anyone might be able to give me a litlle advice, my 96 vic makes a loud rattling noise when going over rough roads, to best describe it, it almost seems like the front brake calibers are bouncing against the housing they are bolted to on to, but i know its not the problem, but it has that lound metal banging on metal sound. its not the struts as far as i can tell, everything else seems pretty tight, and suggestions would be appretiated, thanks

There is a small link that bolts to the sway bar. Check these.

ok, ill check it out, i figure its gotta be something that has to do with a bushing or the like, makes a hell of a noise over bigger bumps, thanks for the advice.

check the sway bar links, upper shock bushings will wear out and beat up the hole.
