Sunfire Wont start

My 1997 Sunfire Gt with a 2.4L engine died while going down the highway. I was able to start it and go about another 20km's and then it died again. The car wont start now, the fuel pump was not turning on so i changed the pump and now the pump still wont come on. I by-passed the realy so that the pump would come on and it did. I took apart the computer wiring harness and noticed the blue plastic clips that would the wires into place where broken, so i replaced them. I have pretty much run out of ideas. The car is not showing any trouble alarms.
