cheap horsepower!?!?

anyone ever try putting a 6lb fan into the intake tube? i heard its suppost to work like a turbo, forcing air into your engine. ive heard of those $69 superchargers that are similar to this but without using any sourse of electricity. http://www.turbonator.com/

6lbs is hella heavy. but as for those propeller things. i watch about it on tv, it's pretty interested but to compare it to turbo is all bullsmack. I understand their theory why it would work and to people who knows about auto know that it's just something common sense. It only work on stock intake not aftermarket one.

Those propeller things that you put on your intake...the Twister or Cyclone or whatever it is...

DOESNT WORK...as I have heard...I would never buy that POS.

And if you do...well...consider yourself a taken 4 a ride...

Yeah I watched a 30 minute infomercial on speedvision about that product The guy that was showing it kept going on and on about how good it is and how it improves horsepower, torque, gas mileage and whatever else he could think of. Anyways, that was the worst 30 minutes I have ever spent. I can't believe that they would even try to sell something like that. I wonder how many people actually bought it?

Speaking of The Speed Channel, who has watched that show on there called Hi-Rev Tuners? It's on at 10:30 pm est time. What do you think of it if you have watched it? I guess it's ok since it's the only import show on speedvision since nascar has taken over The only thing about the Hi-Rev tuners show that I don't like it that their people that show the cars talk like they don't know jack shit about cars. They will show a car with it's hood popped and there will be a nice big turbo sitting there and they just ignore the turbo and will be like "check out this nice cold air intake."

If your a performance enthusiast you'll buy an intake. Those only work on stock air filters/boxes.

HiRev Tuners

I have to agree with Jspec Sileighty on the hosts of that show. The hosts seem as if they're reading of cue cards when they should know that information by looking at the cars. But it is one show targeted at the import crowd.

User reviews have failed them...I have heard they suck big time. That's good enough for me...not that I need an intake anyways...already have one!!! Happy w/it too.
