Brake lights driver side only
HELP!!! 99 Blazer LS
The brake light on the driver's side sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I have checked all connections, and replaced bulbs, but light will work when turning on main headlights and turn signal. What do you think it can be? |

Re: Brake lights driver side only
Wow that sucks...B4 I read your whole thread i was going to say check your connections...But I would still think it has to be a bad ground or bad connection...If a part was blown it would never work. A relay could be going bad . Take it to an electrical specialist and have them do tests. You coulda wore a wire bare or something like that...

Check for a dead short in the trailer wiring harness.

Re: Brake lights driver side only
Disconnect the negative battery connection for 5-10 minutes before starting and if you can find it, make sure you disconnect the airbag connection.
The airbag can hold a charge for a while and you don't want to be in the path if it pops, it is like a shotgun going off.

Re: Brake lights driver side only
check for a recall- my 2000 lt was still under warranty and I took it in to have fixed. Multi-function switch was faulty and under recall. Check it out!
