top speed?

What is around the top speed for my camaro with 3.73's in it? i am trying to decide if i am getting them or 3.42's.

well with 3.42's I've done 160 and had a bit of room left on the tach... so... you should go plenty fast enough with 3.73's

ya but i have a 92 with the lame 305, i think it has less rpm's

well the 305 doesnt have a top end correct? so if thats true, the higher the gear ratio the more it should help, in a sense.... because the engine wont have to work as hard to turn the wheels at a higher rpm.... I'm not sure what your top speed would be... Im guessing it shouldn't change too much, you might just get to it faster

my speedo only goes to 110 but i had my speedo maxed out and i kept going faster...and i have 3.42's with a 305tbi and 700r4

so what do you guy recomend? 3.73's or 3.42's? i think when i get them i will go with the 3.73's. When i get it doen, i will have the shift kit done with it.

you nugget..... the camaro is a fast car... isnt it?..... dont worry bout top end speed that dont matter..... get the accelleration sorted and the handling... its american so it aint seen a propper corner in its life lol
