How do you remove the rear shocks on 1993 Crown Victoria?

if you go to autozone.com, they have the repair manual online, it cost nothing, you my have to registar with there site, but thats free to, after that on the home page you will see a link that says repair info, it takes you to there online manuals, its all the info from the haynes books they sell, its just online and free.they are in the process of putting all the books on there but i know the crown vic is because i just did my intake manifold and i printed the procedure from them on it. good luck

Jack it up by the frame and remove the tire then what i do is cut the plastic boot and clamp some wice grips on the shaft. then put a wrench on the nut (I use a ratchet wrench) and remove nut. to put back together it usually holds enough to tighten it up.
