Re: HELP with exhaust...
Go with the Cat back Exhaust Greddy or HKS 2.5' to i think 4.5' muffler. there like 500 endsebay might have them for cheaper. If your going turbo then go 3.0' piping dont get just a muffler and have a shop weld it to the downpipe thats what ricers do and it sounds like shit and its a waste of money the catback you can do yourself and bolt it and hang it right into place...

Re: HELP with exhaust...
custom exhausts are usually cheaper, but with them, the muffler will make it or break it. You can have an exhaust shop do a 2.5" exhaust for you and mandrel bend it (be sure they mandrel bend it or you'll get thin spots in the exhaust which are constricting) and then weld on the muffler, but if you go that route, be sure to get a good muffler and not just a fart can deal.

Re: HELP with exhaust...
93 del sol with a b16a1? did you swap the engine or are you in europe or something? I'm confused. 94-95 in US was a b16a3 then 96-97 was a b16a2. anyway, airdale you confused me with labeling everything in feet. If you're going turbo, I'de wait until you have everything set up with the turbo installed so that the exhaust fits correctly. other than that if you're going n/a get a header and a catback.

Re: HELP with exhaust...
You don't have a b16a1... you either have a b16a2 or a b16a3... that's what he was getting at... b16a1 is an old, old motor... actually.. come to think of it, I don't even know if one exists... if it does, it's older than your car, which means there's no way you'd get away with swapping it in cali. It may be a b16a, which is JDM, but if it's a USDM motor it's either an a3 or an a2
