1997 Yukon Anti Lock Brake problems

I have a 1997 GMC Yukon , when the roads are wet and I touch the brakes to hard the brakes start acting weird like the anti lock is going out to the point I dont have any brakes at all, they start pulsing and grabbing. This only happens when the road is wet. I had to replace the brake booster a few years ago and was wondering could this be realted to the booster or do I have an anti lock brake problem? Could other things like a mater cylinder going bad affect this also?

Thanks

Re: 1997 Yukon Anti Lock Brake problems

The abs motor is designed to apply and release when it senses that the tires are skidding.
