Shifter Knob

I just picked up a 2000 SE model this month. Looks like the former owner's dog chewed up the shift knob. How do I remove?..and what are my replacement options. Thanks - I'm new to this forum

Re: Shifter Knob

You don't say what transmission your car has in it, so i'll assume its an automatic. On the front of the knob near the bottom there is a clip you need to remove, it kinda looks like a wire staple. remove that and pull up. If its a manual it should just thread off.
