question....P1810 trouble code

What do i do after i have discovered that the code is registering on my OBD II

Check to see if the code is listed in the new thread at the top of the threads page, Moderator Ridenour was kind enough to put a listing of the codes. If it is there it will be your starting point, it may list a part or system that will be causing a problem.

Check it out and let us know if you need help after that.

I just checked the codes and it is not listed, we are hoping that someone will help by adding the newer codes. Those listed go up to 1998.

Any way, if you do not get the answer here from another member you can check with an AutoZone parts store, I knoe they have the codes listed, Or you could even try a web search, or call a GM Dealer, they may give you the description for that trouble code.

Thanks so very much for your input..... my car is up on ramps......so i dropped the trans pan....i couldnt find where the transmission fluid pressure switch is..... or if thats what has caused my car to stop running...it had no problems with the tranny before this happened...i may try resetting the PCM....but thanks for you help....Tom

1810 is 'TFP Valve Position Switch Circuit'.

I guess you already found that one out though...LOL
