rims for an e32

what rims fit on an e32? I'm looking at the 94 740iL... from what I've seen, you can't put more than 18s on there... is that true? can i just pick any rims? how about modern 7 series rims, will they fit on there? is there a site that has all these answers laid out for me?

Re: rims for an e32

i had 20s on mine. but if you want a smooth ride stick with 18s. i think the bolt pattern is 5x120. new bmw rims should fit also.

Re: rims for an e32

5 x 120 is the correct pattern but later E38 -> have a larger centre bore 72.? something so you need spacers so as the wheels sit centrally on the hubs otherwise you will have the dredded shake

Re: rims for an e32

I have a 91 735i and found rims at O E Wheels which is an e-bay store. They are aftermarket rims to the original specs. they'll be able to tell if it will fit your car, just make sure they check to see if you need spacers or not. I got 18 545s and they look great.
