swap

hi i have a 89 300 z non turbo, can anybody tell me if i can put cylinders heads on it off a 87 turbo 300 z

the heads are the same as far as i know... there might be a different sensor or two (knock sensor maybe, but i'm not exactly sure where that's located) and just make sure they're both W series engines (number plate on the rear passenger side of the engine) otherwise the water passages won't match up.

1988 300zx turbo 5spd. 3" mandrel exhaust, filter, afco rad, e-fan, poly engine mounts, mbc at 8.5 psi, turboxs rfl-h bov, gutted plenum, etc.

blown turbo, under construction.. gt35 coming.

the valvetrains are the same between N/A and Turbo? usually, they use intake valves and such like in the Z32.

i'm not 100%... might want to try asking over at 88hybrid.com, they'll know for sure there... but when people are doing the na-turbo swap i've never heard of them swapping over heads.
