Where is the fuel pressure test port?
Hi,
I've been having trouble with my fuel pump. I just replaced it and now I get engine stubling and code 0300 (random misfires). I want to check my fuel pressure but I can't find the fuel pressure test port. The vehicle is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am 4 Cylinder. Where is the fuel pressure test port? Thanks, Sal |

Re: Where is the fuel pressure test port?
According to my haynes manual, it says that it is near the front right corner of the cylinder head. The picture shows a cap that looks like a cap from a bicycle wheel stud and right above the radiator hose. Assuming you have a 2.2L because that is what the picture is describing.

Re: Where is the fuel pressure test port?
Thanks..
Mine is a 2.4 L engine... I checked where you said and I don't see the port. It really looks like this one doesn't have it... which would be strange. Anyone out there with a 2.4 L engine? Thanks, Sal |

Re: Where is the fuel pressure test port?
I see now. 2.4L models dont have a port. You must have a special adapter hose and install it on the fuel system piping, once again coming from my haynes manual. This time I'm sure again. Haha. Sorry.
