92 190 E 2.3 issue

Hi, i have a 92 190 E 2.3 with around 145K miles. the problem is when i start the car and begin to drive it lags around 20 mph then sometimes will kick in and start going but when i stop it will act up again. I check the trans fluid which is ok. Im prettty much stuck there. any help would be greaty appreciated. thank you.

Please describe this "lagging" better. Does the engine lag, or is the transmission slipping causing the lag. Do you hear your engine RPM's going higher, along with the tachometer and your car still fails to speed up? Its important to post specifics here for better help....

well, check 2 things you dist cap and rotor or your ignition coil

change your fuel filter
inquire about the fuel accumalator
