ipod interface in the car?
i know this is an OFF TOPIC forum, but i was just interested in seeing if any you all out there have used an aftermarket ipod interface in your car? i recently got a ipod and am looking at installing the alpine interface in my car to use my ipod with my system. just wondering how well it works and everything.

Re: ipod interface in the car?
i bought an alpine HU for the sole purpose of hooking up my ipod to it. well, for the price of the adapter i figured id screw it. i just bought the alpine AUX adapter ($12) and a good quality RCA cable ($10), saved myself so much money. plus it looks alot cleaner.
just buy a AUX adapter and RCA cable, you will still need to use your ipod to change tracks and whatnot, but you will save beaucoups

yeah, i was also thinking about goin the AUX adapter route. I'll probably end up goin that way, purely because i'm cheap.
