Question radio harness color code?

i have a 95 sl1 and when i bought the car they had already taken the radio out, and since i couldnt get a used one from the junk yard i got to i figured i'd just put one of the extra one i have laying around. now the quesion. what are each of the wires for on the radio wiring warness for? i.e hot line color(s), ground/neutral line color, speaker line colors ect. i can guess most of them but figured it would be better to do it as right as i can the first time
thanks

oh yeah just incase it helps, it didn't have the radio w/ the equilizer stock, just the regular cassette player i believe.

Re: radio harness color code?

i dont know the details to speaker wires, but heres what i can give from this wiring diagram which is suppose to be for 1st gen.....

ign 4 (acc)-yellow
b+ (constant 12v)-orange
park lights on-brown
dim illumination-grey
ground-black

thats all i can get from this manual, but just double check the acc and power wire to make sure its correct. the parking lights/dim doesnt really matter.
