What's up people.. Does anyone know where or on what website to find specs for a TH400 transmission? I've heard of it being used in 4th Gen T/A's just trying to find out if it's a good transmission?why people use them? and i'm assuming it's and auto ( not sure)..any advice?

Re: TH400 transmission

it's an auto, and it's a bulletproof transmission, but it's main downfall, and the reason you see more cars with a turbo 350 is because it takes more power away from your engine to run that tranny.

i've always been told, less than 400hp, stick with a turbo 350, more then 400hp, then it's o.k. to go either way cuz you won't notice that loss as much, on a rating scale, the turbo 350 is like a 8/10, and the turbo 400 is like a 10/10, just gives a power loss
