Old friends are all f'ing crackheads!!!!

I dont know if this seems to happen to anyone else. But I have moved around and the friends that I kind of lost touch with for one reason or another have all seemed to have fucked up lives. The ones I have kept in touch with are doing well, some are in school, others have real jobs and mostly all are doing fairly well for themselves. The ones that I have lost touch with are for the most part doing horrible. Some are druggies, some are in halfway houses, some have quit school and work crappy part time jobs living with 2 other people in a 1 bedroom apartment. It just pisses me off because these people had potential but they just kept fucking up. The worst thing is when you hear from an ex who you kinda cared about back in high school who was a straight A student, was accepted into a good school, family was loaded, was drop dead gorgeous....and now has dropped out of school, works part time at a gas station, consumes more coke than she does air, and has a deadbeat boyfriend who deals drugs for a living. Just pisses me off....im making a trip to Macon, GA one weekend to take care of this, details will come sometime soon...

I know the feeling and let me tell ya man IT SUCKS but theres very little you can do about their lives, they chose to go the route they did and now they are where they are today, just be glad it wasn't you.

Yeah man, 80% of my year 10 friends have dropped out year 10 become drunk stoned bums that rent a house and spend every extra cent they earn from their part time supermarket jobs on pot and hell knows what else, the select few that did have potential went on, now do nothing, crappy part time pizza jobs spending all their money on pills and pot, it's just not worth it, it's not worth the effort.

I hope you can sort those idiots out, I failed. It seems it's what they want, they will regret that soon, which is the saddest part, they know it.

i know what you mean too, not so much from moving around. just people that you dont see as much after high school. one of the funniest guys i ever met, had a great personality. hes a complete fuck up now, i dont get it. hes gettin in knife fights in shit at parties and he totalled his car. i just dont know what goes through some peoples head. i went to school with a great group of people though and most of them are doin good...

I had some friends to just loved to drink every chance they got. I dont talk to them anymore and one has fucked his life up good. I could care less what they do with themselves. Its not hurting me at all. Ill stick with people who have goals in life.

Wow, you're definitely not alone here...I can't tell you how many past friends of mine that have either gambling problems, financial problems or substance abuse problems...its sad, but its reality.

This is for the most part a true statment... I am personaly one of the people that against all odds "unfucked" myself... in hight school i got good grades untill my junior year.. I started doing drugs... then I started dealing... and then i started to jack shit from people.. and stores.. and i droped out of school..... and then I went to a training called Harmony out here in utah.. and it aboslutly rocked my freakin world! i sware i learned more in the 4 days in that training then i ever have in my life! i learned about myself as well as relationships, and how to deal with life.. (i cant type any thing that will do it justice) I stoped every thing on feb, 12 2004 (go me! haha) and sence then i have got a high school deploma (not the G.E.D.) and have atended collage! I own a few cars.. and i have started my own bussiniess! (im only 19.. well 20 on sunday!!) and life is great!

anyways didnt mean to take away from your thread.. it just kinda hit home to me.. and i deffenetly agree with TerminalVelocity.. dont hate them for there choices..use them to your advantage... and learn from them!
