Tune up kit help for 94 prizm

This is my first car and I want to do my own tune up. Can someone list all the parts i need for a tuneup? I just want the option to be able to shop around for all the parts on my own as oposed to asking a parts store to put it together for me. Thanks a lot! The only parts i really know right now is a new air filter/intake, spark plugs, not sure if i need oil filter/fuel filter

Re: Tune up kit help for 94 prizm

If you're not sure about the oil filter, change it anyway. Doesn't cost much and is fairly easy. Get a new PVC valve too. Again, cheap and easy. Might want to put in a bottle of good fuel system cleaner too. Pick up a Chilton or Haynes manual, or find a dealer service manual used on e-bay. Will be worth it if you plan on keeping this car a few years. Good luck with the project. Highland
