Recommendations for Tires? - Stock Rims

Don't need them yet, but eventually I'll need tires for my new-to-me '95 sedan. It's got stock wheel (and I like them fine) but it looks like it has light truck tires, and it also looks like that is what most tires in that size are.

You folks running original rims -- what kind of tires are you running? What would you suggest. This is for suburban/city and highway driving in Southern California where it never snows, but we get some good rain sometimes.

Thanks for your input! I'm still putting together my official "hello," now 2 weeks with the Roadmaster and so far I love it.

Re: Recommendations for Tires? - Stock Rims

The best riding and longest lasting tire I have found is the stock size Kelly Springfield "Navigator". They have been smooth riding and quiet. I have them on my Roadmaster and my Deville. I rate them as Excellent.

Re: Recommendations for Tires? - Stock Rims

I bought my '95 Roadmaster back in November and needed to put a pair of tires on the front as the ones on the car would not pass inspection. After researching I went with Dunlop GT Qualifiers that I got at my local Sam's Club for $69 each. I plan on going back in the spring to get a pair for the back when I take the snow tires off. I am very satisfied with these tires and they look great on the car. A good place online to look at the various tires available for your car is tirerack.com . I've also noticed the proper size for these cars, 235/70/15 is a size alot of tire shops don't usually stock and will have to "special order" them.
