Being the pic whore that I am.... here ya go!

The Cock suckers at UPS just dropped these off at my door!

Hmmm....5 boxes, what could be inside them?

What does it say here....?

18" Motegi DPK's in Hyperblack.

Got lip?....

.... And here is why UPS are cock suckers... 2 out of the 5 wheels are damaged.... So i called up Summit Racing and told them i had 2 rims that were unacceptable, so these are getting picked up and they are sending me 2 more. Hopefully the turn around time won't be very long. This one the front has a nice dent into the lip and the other one has a nice dent into the rear of wheel. They are only small imperfections, but when you paying $800 just for wheels, i expect to get what i paid for.

Re: Being the pic whore that I am.... here ya go!

A little pricey, I'd say.

I paid $708.00 with shipping for these 17 x 9.5s. added another $435 for 275VR40-17 EVO-Z tires and chrome lug nuts.

Here's the pic (I love posting pictures)

Re: Being the pic whore that I am.... here ya go!

Well right now i am waiting to get all the situated with Summit racing, i have been given 2 different stories from 2 different ppl. The guy who took my first call said, they would be shipping 2 more out today, i called them back and talked to someone else, they told me a different story when i asked how the whole UPS thing worked. I then called back one more time and talked to the first guy i put the claim in asking if it would be faster to just drop them off at the UPS hub near me with them but he assured me that i was getting 2 more sent out today and UPS would pick them up. But i just got home and i am going to call them and ask for a traking # so we'll see. I've also done another 350 worth of business with them since i placed the order for my wheels. So roughly $1,100 in buisness with them in 1 week. They better treat me good.

Re: Being the pic whore that I am.... here ya go!

It's too bad that summit didn't do a better job at protecting your investment. They should have dubble boxed those rims with a double wall box. If they did it RIGHT in the first place UPS wouldn't have messed up your rims. UPS would have never known that they were throwing around 800.00 rims for freaking fun if they were packaged in plain brown boxes. Nice to know that summit is fixing the issue fast!! The call tag for the dammaged rims should been sent to you from summit. Once you get the call tag from summit all you should have to do is slap the sticker back on the boxes and drop them off at a UPS authorized shipping outlet.

Re: Being the pic whore that I am.... here ya go!

Well i got my 2 new replacements today... One wheel was perfect while the other has a scrape on the back of the wheel edge.. Its s minor gouge so i said the hell with it and i'm not going to fight it 1 more time, so i have 4 perfect wheels and 1 full size spare with a tiny knick on the rear side lip that you wouldn't even be able to see if it was on the car.
