#10 Fuse on 2000 Windstar
Good Evening,
Is there any information available on all the circuits connected to the #10 fuse? I am trying to find the cause of the continuak blowing of the fuse. I am trying to disconnect the Cruise Control first to see this fixes the problem. Thank you, Lyle |

Re: #10 Fuse on 2000 Windstar
(OK, this is gonna cost ya! LOL!)
Fuse #10 feeds; 1. Rear window defrost relay. 2. Circuit #1040 (RD/BK) ... Instrument cluster terminal #11 ... Shift lock actuator ... Blend door actuator ... Climate control switch assembly terminal #12 ... Parking Aid Module terminal #1 (if supplied) ... Left Power sliding door module terminal #11 ... Right power sliding door module terminal #11 ... Anti-lock Brake module terminal #21 ... Speed control module ... Brake pressure switch (mounted on brake master cyl) ... AC clutch cycling pressure switch (Whew! ... your problem is probably the brake pressure switch ... they fail quite often). |

Re: #10 Fuse on 2000 Windstar
Brake pressure switch is mounted on the bottom of the master cylinder.
It is the only thing down on the bottom of the master cylinder that has wires going to it. I have pictures that I took when I changed it on my '96, and for this, it should be close. You may, or may not, need a different part number for the switch though. http://community.webshots.com/album/201931518cScpNK |
