Maxima v Taurus v Sentra v Supra v Firebird

Saturday night I was hanging out with my cousin (he drives a stock Sentra) and a friend of mines who has a Mk4 Supra (98 twin turbo. We were all at McDonalds, chillin outside, doing some random shit, and eating burgers(poison). A Firebird comes in as we’re rounding off our meal(death), and by the time we are ready to leave he exits the drive through. The ‘Bird pulls over to the side, and I look over at my friend and he’s eyeing it.

The ‘Bird out of nowhere starts revving and launches kinda hard out of the lot. My friend jumps into his car immediately not wanting it to get away. My and cousin and I get in our cars, and as the three of us make are way over to the Bird (waiting for traffic to ease) a black Ford Taurus jumps out in front of us. And as soon as the Firebird makes the right, the Taurus goes right after him.

The only thing I could think was oh shit.

I’m last in line behind my friend in the Supra and my cousin in the Sentra, and they both take off after the other two. I decide to follow suit just knowing something amazing is gonna happen.

As soon as I make the turn I see that the Bird and Taurus had been caught at the nearest light. My friend takes an open lane beside the Firebird, my cousin stops behind the Supra, and I’m forced behind the Taurus. The three cars ahead of us start revving, and the Taurus didn’t stop. It sounded stock, very stock.

The light goes green and everyone in our little pack launches except for the Taurus, or atleast I hope he didn’t. I had to swerve out of his way to miss him and dipped behind the Sentra. I then switched to the lane behind the Supra and pulled EASY on the Senta, the Taurus was out of the picture.

I looked up ahead, hoping to get involved in the real battle, but they had a couple of lengths of me. Damn, it’s times like these I miss my 96 Max….

At least I didn’t come in last….
