A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

Thanks for costing me the bottom lip of my front bumper, dick (hopefully that was all.) I'm lucky my #%@$@ airbag didn't deploy in my goddamn face at 70 mph. I hope whatever was in those boxes cost you a lot of money, like thousands and thousands of dollars of your hard earned savings -- and I hope I completely and absolutely decimated those goods. I hope if it was something for work, that your boss gets pissed and demotes your ass.

Next time maybe you'll put a little more effort into securing your shit, asshole. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go re-shape my license plate, pick chunks of cardboard out of my undercarriage, and size up the situation in respect to how I'll go about reattaching the bottom of my bumper.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

that sucks.

a few years back my dad saw a box sitting in the middle of the road. being the driver he is he aimed right for it. turned out it was some guys brand new top-of-the-range stereo, it had come free of the lashings and fallen off the guy's motorbike. satisfying.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

I've got a 5th gen Accord EX (the best make IMHO) with the factory body kit. Nothing special, but then again no one wants to have a part of their car forcefully removed by a pile of shit some ignoramous left dumped on the highway. That's the biggest hassle with that kind of shit on the highway, as well. It's not like on a two lane road where you're going slow enough to brake, or you can swerve easily into the other lane because you can clearly see if it's open to you. On the highway, you're going a lot faster, and you don't have time to check your mirrors and your blind spots to make sure some soccer mom isn't sitting right next to you with her kids and a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries in the car. It's like BAM! the car in front of you swerves, and even if you have a respectable gap between you and them, shit just comes up way too fast at 70. So you brace and hope for boxes full of styrofoam or lightweight electronics, and not particle board furniture or heavy computer equipment.

I hate people that suck at life, especially when their suckage can jeopardize the lives of others.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

I had a similar experience with a paper bag on the highway, me being the asshat driver that I am aimed straight for it and got two flats because some asshat thought that it would be funny to throw a bag of nails on the freeway, I had to get my car towed because I only had one spare and two flats. LESSON LEARNED: DON'T RUNOVER STRANGE OBJECTS ON PURPOSE!!!! But as I understand your scenerio, yours was on accident and it was a box instead of a bag.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

I got hit by a windshield in my 240sx

I was crusing along pretty quick...about 80.

I see what looks like a bag get sucked under the car ahead of me...I have nowhere to go so I head for it. Well...as it gets close I see its a windshield...and when it hits me it kicks me a lil to the side. I manage to keep it on the road, but I gotta go slow and pull over to make sure I wasnt loosing oil or anything else...

I had just fixed up body damage I bought the car with on the front right...which was destroyed the same day as I was on my way to court for an "unsafe turn" ticket....

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

I was behind people in traffic running over two ladders...all jacked up. I just parked my burbon on the freeway, got out and tossed them onto the shoulder. The guy in the other lane was all sad when I didnt toss his away, so I jumped back outa the burbon and tossed his outa the way too. He looked sooo happy!

hahahaha, oh, and my leg was all messed up. Noone even honked.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

I took out a boat oar one day, got rammed into the radiator of the ass who was tailgating me. Lessons learned: 1. Make sure the oars are in the damn boat, not on top of it. 2. Dont' tailgate, you never know what is going to come flying your way.

Re: A note to the asshat that left that pile of boxes on the highway...

when my dad first got the golf he was driving along the motorway when a door (of the wooden household variety) flew of the back of a pick-up and hit the bonnet/hood of the golf, left dents and scrapes on it. he's lucky it didnt go through the windscreen.

my mum's friend was drving a few years ago on a counrty road here in england when a phesant (game bird) went through the windscreen and landed on the passenger's lap!
