Re: immediate help abaout blinkers!

http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

this is the step by step to replace the window motors... i got the ones i ordered from ebay today and i was considering paying for the repair because my window glass is scratched and i wanted to see if the window needed adjustment, but now im just going to change them myself.

My windows are scratched from going up and down is there a way to adjust that. does anyone have this problem or suggestions on how to fix it.

Re: immediate help abaout blinkers!

the scratch is normal all of them have it, it is the bumpers on the window they rub on it, i don't think you can fix it.

Re: immediate help abaout blinkers!

yeah u can fix it...im in the process of doing mine actually. All u need is a dremel, some polishing bits and 3 types of polish....medium, fine and jewlers...use in that order. Be patient...it takes alot of time. And don't aply too much preasure with the dremel, you will burn the cotton bits...and possibly burn the motor out.

You can get everything at home depot in the tool corral.
I'm an assistant manager there....so i get the inside scoop on all the dope products.
