Gear Shift problem

I have a 1998 Manual transmission. now i have problems with the gear shift, it sort of doesn't want to go into gear and with repeated tries it finally goes and works fine once the gear takes, also does this especially with the reverse gear can hear a bit of grinding but it will finally go into gear after a few tries. clutch seem s to be really loose as well. does anyone think a flush and fill might be a good idea or are there other things that might be wrong.

Re: Gear Shift problem

It sounds like your clutch is going. It could also be a synchronizer problem.
