Problem with friends 97 sphyder gs-t
he can be going down the road and floor it, but whenever u open it to full throttle and get to higher rpms it it acts like the motor cuts off completely, just for like a split second. its like the motor looses all power. its stock becides a greedy type-s bov and intake. so i don't think it would be fuel cut what could be the problem.

it's fuel cut or a alot of boost leaks.

 I think the best solution would be for him to sell his spyder to me for $100 cash... Right now... He can even keep the nasty bov flange from it. lol

Check the plugs and wires. I know a guy that had a GST that would cut out sometimes at high rpms. Changed plugs and wires and have never seen the problem again.
