short circuit

hey peeps my 95 blazer vortec is driving me crazy, one day my key was in the ignition and my steering column cover was removed because it was broke and my keys accidentally hit the box below the lock cylinder and sparked, my question is would that cause any startup problems of any kind my, i have replaced the fuelpump cpi unit coil pack control module computer crank senser ignition cap and rotor and still no dice.

Kinda of a LOT OF GREEN to be spending should have taken it to a garage instead of spending all that
