What do I need to know.
I'm getting a 91 R32 and am relatively unfamiliar with the car.
Does any body have any advise, common things I should know and some good resources?

Re: What do I need to know.
lol sorry bro. i was in a bad mood yesterday. myself, all i know for the r32 is that the frame is weaker then the r33 and r34. so the best thing to do if your using it is to road race is to reconstruct the frame or add more structure to the frame. thats all that i know for defects bout it. sorry for gettin off at u lol

As for weak links. Check the tech section on this site, Fresh Alloy, and Skylines Down Under. My personal experiences: If it is high miles around 60k miles (100k KM) then the timing belt should really be changed, especially if there is no proff it hasn't been done. It's good insurance against costly and catastrophic engine failure. You will also want to replace the water pump (leaking or not), as it is behind the timing belt. If you wait you will need to have the timing belt taken off again later. This will be very expensive. Next, the stock drilled rotors have a poor reputation. Once your brakes need service it is a good idea to upgrade to slotted rotors or quality two piece rotors. They will often cost less than the stock Nissan units. Other than that the car was solid. On a positive note you can get a new leather gear shift boot and e-brake cover for around $50 US. It is easy to change, and makes an otherwise old interior look new. Good luck! Enjoy the ride! -AL
