fuse box question... and other question
ok i got a couple questions.
1.) on the fuse box there is a hole labeled "pwr" and to my understandig, anything plugged into this hole will get power, even when the car is shut off. should there be anything plugged into this? theres 2 wires plugged into this, and im woundering if that could be the reason for my battery dying.... (im having a lot of trouble with the battery and alternator) 2.) the oil/choke light came on. what does it mean and how do i fix it? 3.) heres a question about the alternator. ![]() let me explain the picture. theres a wire that goes from the battery to the alternator, and thers a plug that goes from the alternator to who knows where. i've been having trouble with my car staying charged, and i took it to autozone and this is how the guy told me to hook it up ( so my alternator would put the battery to 14+ volts while the cars turned on. he said cut the wires that plug into plug, merry them, and run a wire from them to the battery. i did that, and when the cars on, my battery is running at 14 volts or so. is this ok? this is getting frustrating. |
