Daytime Running Lamp Replacement
Does any one know how to remove the plastic shield to replace the daytime running lamp bulb on a 2003 Tahoe, Yukon or Suburban?

Re: Daytime Running Lamp Replacement
You don't have to remove any shield. The best(easiest) way to replace the DRLs is to remove the headlamp assembly(s). Once the headlamp is out of the way you will be able to wiggle your hand down behind the DRL and twist the socket out. Change the bulb - a little dielectric never hurts - & put everything back together. Let me know if you have questions. M

Re: Daytime Running Lamp Replacement
There are 2 slide pins that hold the assembly in. Pull those pins and the assembly comes right out. They are located on top of the light
