i have a 98 vw golf gti 2.0l i was driving down the road the other day and my car jus shut off an i tryed to crank it but it wouldnt do nothin. the only thing that works is the interior lights and the milage gauge and the clock and the lights behind the gauges. idk whats wrong wit it

im not a mechanic but id guess either you have a near dead alternator or battery... srry bout ur luck
