vacuum modulator

I have a 93 custom 4t60-e tranny. my question is how do you replace the modulator

Re: vacuum modulator

The modulator is located on th front of the transmission, drivers side. It's about as big around as a soda can, but a little shorter. If you have trouble locating it, follow the metal vacuum line running from the frint of the intake to the modulator. There's a 10mm (IIRC) bolt and a U shaped piece of steel holding it down. Just remove the vacuum line, bolt and pull out. Reverse to replace.
