This took only four hours!
So yeah, I had some time this weekend to kill (and I still have a lot more to kill), and I created this guage cluster in Solidoworks 3D CAD complete with tach, spedo, fuel, temp, oil, and voltage guages. The RN123456 at the bottom would be the gear indicator for a paddle shift tranny. (the 3 is illuminated to show the current gear).
I've had this idea in my head for awhile, and I finnally got around to drawing it out, and I thought I'd share it. ![]() Heres a angled view to show some some depth,

Re: This took only four hours!
Looks like your PC doesn't quite have enough to drive the graphics rendering, which is a pity because there's nothing wrong with your ability to use the software.

The pics you see are actually screen shots from another program called e-drawings. I had to open it with that program because solidworks decided today that it wouldn't open the originial document, possibly because, like you said, the graphics card couldn't keep up. |

Re: This took only four hours!
That would look good on a muscle car or a retro car, like the 05 Mustang.

Re: This took only four hours!
Looks good, I wonder if this could be done with AutoDesk?
Anyways doesn't look like it would be on a muscle car because the cluster looks too compact, fit for an import though. Still very nice |
