need advise

my car has been acting really weird today, i put heat (yellow bottle) in my car today and filled the tank to half and its 20 degrees outside. Anyway to my problem, when i came to an intersection i put my clutch down to the floor and my car just died, i then started it back up and kept going. Next stoplight it almost did it again. What could this be?

Re: need advise

same here. i know my coil is bad tho so I'm pretty sure thats why mine does it. when u push the clutch in the rpms drop instantly or are supposed to. and if your coil/wires/plugs are bad then they could just drop completely because the coil/spark plugs/wires aren't producing spark the way there supposed to. just my theory. if I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Re: need advise

you don't think this is a fuel/cold problem, i was also told today that putting the yellow bottled ISO Heat in a car is bad for it, versus the red kind

Re: need advise

NP or like you said that shit u put in there could have made the gas "less" flammable that could also cause the problem. try putting some gas treatment in it to see if it will clear that shit out.

Re: need advise

What octane gas are you using? Try filling your tank with 91-92oct and see if that helps... Usually one bottle is suppose to be used with a full tank of gas.

Re: need advise

Doesn't fuel treatment pull all the debris and water from your tank to the top of the tank then it is sucked through the fuel filter? My thoughts is that what if you clogged your fuel filter by doing this? I know 3 years ago when it was cold out I put that stuff in and i clogged my filter. Well I'm probably wrong but GL anyways.

Re: need advise

Why? It does nothing for your N/T. Cars that dont need it do not gain anything if you use it. Search it if you dont believe me... You're just waisting money.

Isn't it better for the injectors because it burns hotter and doesn't allow carbon to build up?
