Re: Post Your Lumina

No idea how much a Z34 body kit costs. Razzi makes a Z look alike kit for the 4 door Lumis. No idea what they ran new, they were on the car when I got it. Previous owner had put them on because the stock 16" rims would not fit over the big brake kit he put on the car (13" front rotors, Baer PBR 2 piston caliper, 12" rear rotors, Baer PBR 1 piston calipers from the stated 91 ZR1 Vette in sig). They are 18" TSW Hockeheim R's (pic is without the lug nut covers on) and they are not made anymore. I did find a place in North Carolina (was a few years ago) that had some old stock of them, and I think they wanted $200 a pop for them. They are aluminum alloy though, so if they get bends in them (which our roads around here like to do because our roads suck donkey balls), no one will touch them... At least with aluminum, you can have them bent back, or if you have one like my friends aluminum rims that actually bent so bad it split, you can have it welded back together. Alloy you don't get that option. What sucks is I have about $825 in rubber on them now (BFGoodrich T/A Gforce KDW, 245/45), that will have to be unseated to repair them if I do find a place to fix them, but I have been told tires don't seat as well the second time around after being mounted.

PS, I wouldn't sell the car just so someone could have the body panels, lol, it's a 5 speed car- VERY hard to find, only about 1,800 of them made in 92 were 5 speeds out of all the Z's, and I *love* my baby Quick little fact- most everyone I know with a 5 speed GM W-body (Lumi, GP, Cutty, Buick, but Buick took their own 3800 engine for their high end option, not the 3.4 DOHC) have 92's with 2 exceptions which were 91's. For some reason 92 had the most amount of 5 speeds, again at 1,800 from what I was told. You see a few 91's once in a while, mostly 92, and 93's are extremely rare, and the last year to get a 5 speed.
