Resonator

For an exhaust system people say to use a 12'' to 18'' resonator. Which is better to use to reduce excessive noise, a straight through or I believe its called a glasspack?

you wouldnt want to use either one cause strait through has no restriction and a glass pack will give it a ver respy sound. i have a strait through 16" resonator and it has made my exhaust very loud.
