I have a 96 plymouth voyager, over 160,000 miles on it. My wife was coming home from a store yesterday, when the van acted like it was in neutral. She shifted thru all gears and it wouldn't move forward or reverse. I just changed the fluid and filter, and it still won't move. I have a 3.3 liter v6, and I believe it to be a 4 speed trans. Any ideas would be very appreciated
, as I have been wracking my brain, ( what little is left)!!Leon |

Re: Need help!!
If it happend while she was parked then you might have a broken shift cable. If it happened while she was driving, the i'm going with a toasted trasmission. I had a car that started slipping on my way to work, and by the time i got to work I was coasting. Looked at the fluid and was silver with metal flakes, not red any more. Had to change the tranny. How did the fluid look when you changed it??
