idiot lights

I have a 97 gran prix se and the check tire pressure light comes on in the dash...now i've put all pressures to specs and unhooked the battery to reset the computer but the light still is on...anyone that knows how to correct this problem please let me know [[email protected]]...THANKS

It may just need to relearn before the light will stay off after reset. That may take 45 to 90 minutes driving time once you have the proper tire pressure in each. If that doesn't work you may have one of the wheel sensors acting up since it is used for the tire inflation monitor system in addition to ABS and traction control.
